Today I am going to show you how to cast light lures on a cheap baitcaster. These easy tips for beginners can be applied to almost every entry level baitcaster. I am using a 5 year Abu Garcia Black Max for this demonstration. A recent comment claimed that I would NOT be able to cast plastic lures and skirted jigs nearly as far as the weights themselves. Boy was he ever wrong. I was actually able to cast the complete fishing rigs even further! In this video I cast everything from 1/32 ounce up to 1/2 ounce. This video ends with a couple of tips about setting up your tension and magnets before casting. #fishing #realistic
