Victoria’s snap lockdown will be extended as the state continues to try to get ahead of a COVID outbreak that has double-digit daily increases. On Monday, just over a day before the five-day shutdown was flagged to end, the Victorian premier said it will have to last a little bit longer. “This is by no means over. We are running alongside this virus, but not in front,” Daniel Andrews said.
