Afghans who worked with ADF should be given 'another chance at their lives' in Australia

Sky News host Peta Credlin says Afghans who worked alongside the ADF should be brought to Australia to "have another chance at their lives".

"Because, for many of them, their lives were on the line when they assisted our soldiers," Ms Credlin told Sky News host Alan Jones.

“I guess I am sympathetic to Peter Dutton in that he has to do the appropriate background checks.

“We do not want people who have switched sides from the Taliban to the government to come to Australia.

“Those that have been checked, and I think the checking was made all the harder when we withdrew from the Embassy perhaps earlier than we should have but those that have checked they should be moved very, very quickly, they should already be in Australia.”
