SpaceX is NOW PREPARING to TEST Super Heavy Booster 4 and Starship 20.

SpaceX founder Elon Musk is racing against time to develop the Starship spacecraft that could enable humans to become a multi planet species. Elon Musk in a recent interview said that “if we operate with extreme urgency we have a chance of making life multiplanetary. It’s still just a chance, not for sure. If we don’t act with extreme urgency, that chance is probably 0", that is the reason for them to move extremely fast.
Last week, they stacked Starship 20 atop Super Heavy Booster 4 for the first time during a fit test. And now, SpaceX has completed almost 90% of preparation to test the Largest Super Heavy Booster 4 and Starship 20.
So, what exactly is the current state of SpaceX's preparations?
First, Super heavy booster 4 rolled back to the production site on the 11th of August. Booster 4 was attached to the transport stand and mounted on the self-propelled modular transporter. Shots like this always give me goosebumps.

As soon as Booster 4 stood in High bay, SpaceX proceeded to remove 29 raptors overnight. Around 12 hours after the process began, SpaceX appeared to have removed 14 (just shy of half) of Super Heavy B4’s Raptor engines – a pace almost as spectacular as their 12-18 hour installation a bit less than two weeks prior. They may send 5 of them to the SpaceX McGregor Testing Facility.
Aside from making engine removal dramatically easier, Musk said that SpaceX moved Ship 20 and Booster 4 back to the build site to expedite some minor final integration work – namely “small plumbing and wiring.” So, Ship 20 and Booster 4's stay at the high bay won't last long. The vehicles will be transported to the launch pad again to initiate their separate test campaigns. Each vehicle will undergo cryogenic proof testing to assess their strength. If all goes well, SpaceX will reinstall the engines to perform static-fire tests in the coming weeks.
And talking about S20, it has left High Bay to make room for its partner.
The most obvious and significant work ongoing since its return to the high bay is the process of inspecting Starship S20’s heat shield and repairing or replacing broken, chipped, and loose tiles. Not long after Ship 20 arrived back at the build site, workers in boom lifts began a seemingly arduous process of inspecting the Starship’s nose heat shield and marking – with colored tape – hundreds of tiles with cracks, chips, or other less visible issues.
