Doesn't Vimeo charge you to upload?
Yes. About $300/year.
Won't Vimeo make you pay out the nose if your videos get a lot of views?
Yes, but they claim that this doesn't happen to 99.9% of their customers, and in the event it does, they try to develop a deal that works for everyone. I find it difficult to believe I'll get to that point. If I do, and it's a choice between paying, like, $10k and deleting all my videos from Vimeo, I'll delete the videos.
The comments are on on Instagram, though?
Only when, for some unclear reason, IG doesn't let me turn them off. If it becomes a rule that IG doesn't let me turn comments off, I will just stop uploading there.
