New Covid Variant C.1.2 May Evade Vaccine Immunity, Spread Faster Than Delta

Scientists from NICD alerted that the C.1.2 variant first found in May 2021 in South Africa has been detected in all provinces of the country. It has also been found in other countries such as the Democratic Republic of Congo, Mauritius, Portugal, New Zealand and Switzerland.
