At the end of deadline day; Paul Merson, Kris Boyd and Sam Allardyce discussed Cristiano Ronaldo's return to Old Trafford, with the Portuguese forward expected to re-debut for the Red Devils in their next match against Newcastle United.

Paul Merson remains unconvinced by the signing and suggests that if Manchester United truly want to win the league they should have signed Harry Kane instead, whereas Sam Allardyce discussed whether this move could prove to be a big risk for both Ronaldo and Manchester United.
