A Continual Thread!

Isaiah 10:20-21
In that day the remnant of Israel and the survivors of the house of Jacob will no more lean on him who struck them, but will lean on the LORD, the Holy One of Israel, in truth. A remnant will return, the remnant of Jacob, to the mighty God. For though your people Israel be as the sand of the sea, only a remnant of them will return.

• Isaiah spoke beautifully of the remnant of Israel. That remnant comprises Jewish people who have trusted the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. Modern-day Jewish followers of Yeshua are part of the remnant of Israel. It has never been stopped over mankind’s history. Incidentally, Isaiah called his son Shear-Yashuv, meaning “ a remnant shall return”, because he was so certain that God’s faithfulness was unwavering. God’s kept promises to Israel make Him ever so trustworthy when it comes to His promises to believers.
