Australia has been saved a "six billion dollar stupid idea" from the Labor Party, according to Sky News host Paul Murray.
"The Labor Party, when they were trying to politicise the vaccine rollout, well each-way-Albo had an idea," Mr Murray said.
Opposition leader Anthony Albanese in August proposed a $300 incentive for Australians to get vaccinated.
Mr Murray said the cost of that idea would have been $6 billion.
"Australians did not need to be bribed to go and do it," he said.
Mr Murray pointed out Labor has now "done an each-way-Albo" and said the time for vaccine incentives has passed.
"How did the media fall for this?"
