COE premiums for larger cars, open category hit six-year high in Oct 6 bidding exercise

In the Oct 6 tender, Certificate of Entitlement (COE) premiums for larger cars and open category vehicles continued to climb to hit their highest in more than six years. COE prices for the open category increased by $2,754 to $72,756. Those for bigger cars went up by $1,890 to hit $70,200. Premiums for the other categories fell, with those for smaller cars dropping by $999 to $47,001. Premiums for commercial vehicles dipped by $110 to $38,890. COE prices for motorcycles dropped marginally to around $9,052.
