Luang Por explores the 2nd noble truth of knowing suffering. Using the analogy of a toothache: When one experiences pain, if one allows the pain to become conscious within awareness, one sees pain, as "just pain". Excluded from the sense of "I am" or "Mine". Bringing attention to awareness, rather than the objects of awareness.
That is not to say one does not go to a dentist to have the pain addressed. But seeing suffering/pain for what is, held in the infinite boundless awareness, is essentially an act of Metta/Loving kindness. What is not resisted, gives rise to less suffering.
