Running Shoe Rotations | Vital to training or no longer valid? Easy, Speed, Long Run & Race | EDDBUD

We often hear the words "Running shoe rotation" but what does it mean? Is it still a valid thing to have a whole host of shoes for training or can you now get away with a smaller selection due to the improved foams in the super shoes of 2021?

The foams are more forgiving and appear to lessen injury and fatigue whilst being immensely durable too.

Whats your take on the old easy, speed, long run and race categories? Do we need lots of shoes to take care of our training or is it just simply old hat and made to sell more shoes which are actually not that dissimilar?
