Join us for Salisbury Charter fair in the town centre, This Charter fair is local and one we always cover, Yes we've seen the gear before but its a different ground and always nice to support these fairs.

We didn't let the horrible weather put us off, We thought we'd take a trip down for a birthday treat, Yes i was 21 years old .... This traditional Charter fair still opens at 11am on a school day, It was obviously quiet with the weather being bad too BUT we made the most of it and took you on some machines including the Orbiter we missed at Newbury, The Ghost Train we only see once a year and stuff like the Twist, Dodgems & Waltzer! We even had a look in the funny mirror house.

Sorry for to much talking but that is what a vlog is ... Video Log of our day and our experience, We try to mix it up so we show plenty of fair whilst having a laugh with it, The Miami didn't kill me and I still enjoyed my birthday cake but feel fatter than ever now :(

Salisbury Charter Fair takes over the Market Place to light up the centre of Salisbury and bring fun for all the family!

In 1227 - seven years after the building of Salisbury Cathedral began - King Henry III granted a Charter to the Bishop of Salisbury to hold a fair on the third Monday in October. That same Charter granted the City permission to hold a market every Tuesday. Both the Charter Market and Annual Fair are still held to this very day.

Visitors can typically find the usual fair favourites including dodgems, hook-a-duck, waltzer and ghost train to name but a few. Not forgetting Candy floss, Toffee Apples and other refreshments that can also be found.

Nearly all rides will cost just £2 a go until 6pm with juvenile rides costing £2 at all times. Some prices may rise after 6pm.

The Fair will open from 2pm until 9pm on Sunday, and then 11am until 10pm Monday through to Wednesday
