Shalom!.
Welcome to meet me in a brief sermon via Youtu.be and other social media.
This time the theme is still about THE SECRET OF THE FAITH – Part Two which contains three topics of brief discussion:
1. THE SECRET OF PEOPLE OF FAITH – The Law of Bind and Loose
2. THE SECRET OF THE FAITH – The Law of Sowing and Reaping
3. THE SECRET OF THE FAITH – Serving, not being served
In carrying out the task of serving God and fellow human beings, it includes the service of sinful souls, unconverted husband/wife, children whose lives are far from God.
o If we have carried out our ministry duties, either through direct services in the form of guidance, counseling and explanations of the Word of God that are related and we have prayed for, it has even become part of the subject of prayer that is carried out regularly and continuously.
o But the souls we serve have not yet experienced repentance, accepting the Lord Jesus as personal Lord and Savior
Please note "the repentance of sinners is a gift given by God, not an effort made by humans"
o If the soul being served has not been converted, then as people who serve, we should not despair and have feelings of failure and so on. Without us realizing what we have done, we have sown seeds (God's Word). It will be an integral part that God will send someone to be a sower for what we have sown.
o If the soul being served experiences repentance. Remember, don't assume this is a successful effort that we are doing, this is solely as the GRACE OF GOD. God uses us as the reaper. But we also need to realize that God has sent other believers as the sower long time ago before we do.
The law of sowing and reaping rewards the sower and reaper according to the Word of God. "Now the reaper has received his reward and is gathering fruit for eternal life, so that the sower and the reaper may rejoice together." (John 4:36)
For that we as believers who are entrusted with carrying out a noble task for the conversion of sinful souls, then know
o “Those who sow in tears will reap in joy. He who goes forth weeping and sowing seed, will surely return with joy, carrying his sheaves.” Psalm 125:5-6
o In Galatians 6 verse 9 it says "Let us not be weary of doing good, for when the time comes, we will reap, if we do not become weak."
o Brothers-sisters, what did the Apostle Paul say to the church in Corinth chapter 15 of the first Corinthian letter in the last verse “… , my beloved brethren, stand firm, do not falter, and be zealous always in the work of the Lord! For you know that in fellowship with the Lord your labor is not in vain.” 1 Corinthians 15:58
As the conclusion,
o Throughout the life of a human being, whether a believer or not, will never be separated from the activities of sowing and reaping, whether consciously or not.
o And also we already know that what we sow today, we will reap in the future, as the Apostle Paul said to the Galatians “...For whatever a man sows, he will also reap.” Galatians 6:7
Surely Jesus bless you.
