The Kremlin may be willing to keep talking, but just how valid those intentions are is uncertain. John Kirby, the Pentagon spokesperson, said regarding a potential attack, “It could happen any day now.” He added, “It could happen with little to no warning.” Separately, the president remembered the 17 lives lost 4 years ago today in a horrific school shooting in Parkland, Florida.
