Quebec Police Targeting Ontario Tourists

Going back years, Quebec police have been reportedly charging Ontario residents upwards of $500 for expired licence plate stickers. Now with Ontario dropping the plate renewal fee and many residents confused about the grace period or the need to renew at all, Quebec police have capitalized on the confusion by blitzing tourist locations like the Nordik Spa in Chelsea.
