Singer-composer Krishnakumar Kunnath, popularly known as KK, passed away on Tuesday evening (May 31) shortly after his performance at Nazrul Manch in Kolkata. He was 53. As per reports, the playback singer collapsed after the concert. He was rushed to the private hospital CMRI, where he was declared brought dead. He was in the city for a two-day concert.
KK was one of the most versatile singers of the Indian film industry. He has recorded songs in several languages like Bengali, Hindi, Tamil, Telegu, Kannada and others. KK is survived by his wife and two children.
