BEST DAMN LEMONADE
--------------------
-WASH 6 LEMONS AND PEEL OFF THE ZEST. (NO WHITE PITH)
-PLACE THE PEELS INTO A BOWL.
-ADD 1.25 cups (10oz/250g) GRANULATED SUGAR.
-TOSS TO COMBINE THE SUGAR AND PEEL. (OR MUDDLE)
-LET THE MIXTURE SIT COVERED FOR AT LEAST 6-8 HOURS OR OVERNIGHT.
-BRING 5 cups (40oz/1200ml) WATER TO A BOIL OVER HIGH HEAT.
-TURN OFF HEAT AND POUR IN THE LEMON-SUGAR MIXTURE.
-STIR UNTIL THE SUGAR IS COMPLETELY DISSOLVED.
-STRAIN OFF THE LIQUID AND LET COOL TO ROOM TEMPERATURE.
-SQUEEZE THE LEMONS INTO THE BOWL AND POUR THE LEMONADE INTO A PITCHER.
-THOROUGHLY CHILL BEFORE SERVING. STORE IN THE FRIDGE FOR UP TO 1 WEEK.
-ADD A SPLASH OF VODKA TO HELP PRESERVE IT LONGER (OPTIONAL)
