The Australian’s Victorian political reporter Rachel Baxendale says it has been “really interesting” to see there hasn’t been a high number of hospitalisations in Victoria despite the record level of COVID-19 cases.
“Even though we are seeing quite scary case numbers, that’s not converting necessarily to the numbers that were predicted in the Burnet modelling in terms of hospitalisations and deaths," she told Sky News host Chris Kenny.
